David Riffel, Owner
Born in Torrance Ca. Raised in Barstow Ca. Graduated Barstow High School. Joined the United Brotherhood of Carpenters local 1478 Redondo Beach Ca. Attended Long Beach City College for four year Carpenters Apprentice Program and received his Journeyman's Card. Started his first year as a Framer - second third and fourth year as a finish carpenter. The next five years spent in business with his Uncle Harkens Construction Inc. Most of their work was in custom remodeling with some new housing projects. He was instrumental in starting A Color Carpet Company Inc. and then the next decade learning Excavation - Concrete - Plumbing - Electrical - Masonry - Painting. Most of the General contractors at that time did all phases of construction themselves in the residential housing. David has been fortunate through the years to have erected several Timber Frame houses, a nice blend of new and old technology's. He likes newer technology of building houses, for instance SIP panel walls and roofs,
Scott lawhon, owner
Born in Long Beach, California. Graduated from Mayfair High School in Lakewood, California. Received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. He grew up in the family hardware store, DeJongs Hardware, located in Bellflower, California and learned the different trades associated there - plumbing, electrical, paint, small engine repair, large appliance repair and all the administrative sides to the company. After moving to Reno, NV in 1993 with an aircraft parts distributor, he built his own home in Pleasant Valley, just North of Carson City and South of Reno. Once he recognized his passion for construction, the pins fell into place. After teaming up with David Riffel, the two started ANI Building Solutions and have worked together building the company into a one stop contractor in building new builds, flipping distressed properties, painting both interior and exterior and kitchen/bathroom remodels. Scott enjoys working with all local subs and investors to bring new and updated projects to fruition.
